Why should people be interested in getting involved with your society? 

J: We make films and I think that’s very exciting to be like oh yeah I made this film and can show it to people and show how I made and done it, it’s a form of art that everyone can see and can have a meaningful impact. 

W: I think it opens up a lot of opportunities for people who want to get involved creatively in any part of the filming process so it could be film, editing, on set, post and pre-production, it gives the opportunity for people who aren’t in film to get involved on a film set. 

What courses does everyone study? 

J: Film Making. 

What is it about this society that made you want to join?  

J: Networking and meeting new people with a similar passion for wanting to make films. 

W: I think it’s a creative networking opportunity you get to meet every single year group, network with people they know and collaborate on some interesting projects and get to help here and there on people’s projects.  

If you had to describe your society in three words what would they be and why?  

J: Creative, quirky, fun 

W: Ambitious, challenging, inspiring   

If your society could have a celebrity mascot, who would it be and why?  

J: Matthew Lillard, Brendan Fraser 

W: Or a clapperboard, Chris the Clapperboard 

What’s one fun fact about each of you here today?  

J: I’m currently directing one of my passion projects which is a game adaptation. 

W: I’m part of the greatest TikTok group ‘How I Met Your Housemates’. 

Finally, is there anything people should know before joining?  

J: Even though you can’t use the equipment you can still get a lot of confidence from managing roles.
