10. Chipway
I like this takeaway because they have great chips and you do get a generous portion but the regular chips cost £4.00.
It’s worth it if you have sauces and seasoning but I’m just picky, however, my friends really like it, especially Tyler.
9. Parish
This spot is really cool, I’d definitely recommend if you’re into alternative music.
Parish is known for hosting various emo and indie nights across three floors as well as being home to a pool table downstairs.
My friends and I love it, even though pool isn’t my strong suit, it’s still fun.

8. The Cherry Tree (Wetherspoon)
The chips are incredible, the drinks are cheap and they’ve got amazing events like disco nights, karaoke and quizzes.
It’s also a great starting place for nights out as well as a lovely place for lunch which is how I met my friends Eve and Lyla.
It is also placed very conveniently in the same street as the clubs.
7. Revolution
This is a brilliant club to visit but make sure it’s the right night because sometimes it’s as dead as a doornail but most of the time it’s buzzing.
The DJ let my friend Briony pull the confetti cannon and we taught everyone how to Cupid Shuffle before getting posted on the DJ’s Snapchat.
6. Ballers
This sports bar is a good spot for drinks and we know the bartender Jake, he’s lovely.
Ballers is where I spoke to my friend Izzy for the first time and I’m so glad.
They even have a punch machine but that’s also not one of my strong suits.

5. HMV
INCREDIBLE! I have 20 CDs, all from HMV, except my Justin Bieber CD which is from a charity shop.
I was so glad that Huddersfield has a HMV because it got taken away in Kent.
I’ve bought two CDs in the last two days; Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers and Wishbone by Conan Gray.
4. Olde England Fisheries
A delicious chip shop. The fish is unmatched.
Cod and chips is my go to meal and this place has knocked it out of the park, it’s delectable and the staff are so friendly as well.

3. Mavericks 80’s Bar
Everyone loves this club. We first went there on HudCrawl (which was phenomenal.
They play amazing songs and I even ended up in a dance circle here, which I slipped during but played it off.
A double shot was only £4 so I would definitely recommend it.
They do a lot of 80s, 90s and 00s music – very worth visiting!
2. The Light
I’ve only been here twice but it is so fun and has so many things like bowling, laser tag, mini golf, cinema.
I’ even went to see the release of Taylor Swift’s new album The Life Of A Showgirl at the new cinema in The Light.

1. Primark
I love Primark so much! Before I left, my grandad gave me a voucher and it’s almost run out of money now (oops).
This shop has amazing clothes for quality prices and I’m obsessed with the press-on nails, they last a while, they look lovely and they range from 90p to £3.50.
All my friends know how much I love Primark.
